Dad .

A letter for you, Dad...

You know, Dad, you're the only person in the world who really knows me; there aren't ten, there aren't a hundred; there's only one and it's you...

You are the only one who can truly define me, the only one who deeply understands me, who helps me materialize and to repair well. Sometimes, Dad, I've acted badly, when interacting with others or even with you, but  your goodness guides me and your patience proves to me what a great soul you are. I may have disappointed you sometimes, but never  have I ever felt a lack of infinite love in you...You've always known how to give me the gift of a second chance; come to think of it, I've always been able to re-gain what, to my eyes, is most precious of all: your trust in me. You knew how to help me see deeply, perceive the depths of things, during our many conversations, which, as the hours passed, helped me become aware of my fears or simply opened my heart more...

I don't only love you Dad for all that you do for me, I love you for the person you are today, for the thousands of lives you save every second of yours, including mine. I love you for who you truly are, for your radiance, your eternal joy and your unconditional love.

You restore my wings when my life is often too superficial. Without the spirituality you've given me, I'd be lost, without a lifeline, traumatized by the limitations of human beings when they convey difficulties in everyday life. I'd have taken the wrong path if you hadn't held my hand and ever since, every day, I try hard to show you why you're right to have faith in me...You know, Dad, in a way, you're the most beautiful part of me...

And now, thanks to you and my love for you, I've found my way. I've found my reason for living; from wanting to know everything, I've come to see what my mission is.  And I'm on the same path as you, Dad, I belong to the same destiny lineage as you, I've made my choice, I want us to walk it together, Dad, step by step. I'd like to learn all that you can teach me - how to be conscious, how to reflect and think, how to make decisions, how to act well.  I thirst for beautiful understanding, right communication and wonderful, deep discussions. 
If my vulnerability, my fragility has been strengthened, if certain fears have been dispelled, if many conflicts have been avoided, it's thanks to you, Dad. If there's a new form of happiness in my life, it's thanks to you, Dad; you've always known how to maintain our wonderful relationship, our beautiful complicity and our ease of communication...You have always been there for me,  and I thank you from the very depths of my soul, Dad... 

You're the best example there is; if you only knew how much I'd like to resemble you Dad... One day I will and I'll ceaselessly try to improve and become a better person.You've made me, Dad, you've built me to be strong; I'm not afraid of working, of questioning myself and beginning all over again. Please know that I'd like to offer you better than the person I am; you deserve a daughter who's even more evolved...But I'm going to progress, Dad, it's only a question of time, because the love you give me motivates me to become better, to evolve.
